The Wise Man often presents as a kind old grandfather type, who can be a mentor, a sage, a philosopher, wizard or professor. Often called a senex, the other side of this archetype may be the ruthless devourer or doddering fool, but most often they use personal knowledge to tell stories and provide insight.
