Zontes is the new talk of the town. People are getting crazy over this new brand that is about to enter Bangladesh. One of the most hyped bikes of Zontes is the Zontes ZT155-U. The Zontes ZT155-U is a street fighter that is fighting its way into the hearts of potential future Zontians. The Zontes brand has also got us at excited, hence here we will be overviewing the Zontes ZT155-U.

Zontes is a Chinese vehicle manufacturer (source). Zontes was founded in 2003. Bangladeshis have known Zontes for quite a while now, however, people became excited about the brand in 2021. In 2021 it was declared that the bike will reach Bangladesh. People went crazy for the bike as soon as it was declared.

Key Features:
The Zontes ZT155-U comes with a full LED setup. The headlight comes with two projection units and a twin DRL setup. The overall headlight might remind you of the Transformers. The tail section of the bike comes with a basic T-shaped LED taillight. The indicators of the bike are also LED.

The Zontes ZT155-U comes with a very informative instrument cluster. The instrument cluster consists of speed, odo, trip, RPM, and other necessary indicators. As additional information

The Zontes ZT155-U will come with a dual-channel Bosch ABS system. This bike will be one of the few bikes in Bangladesh to have dual-channel ABS. This bike will also have a slipper clutch. This bike will be one of the very few bikes to have a slipper clutch.

One of those features is the keyless ignition. This method is used in very few bikes in Bangladesh. The Zontes ZT155-U also comes with keyless tank cap and seat ejection. This means that the bike will have buttons that will allow it to open the tank cap and the seat. This is the only bike in Bangladesh to have all these features.

The Zontes ZT155-U also comes with riding modes. The bike has two riding modes: Basic and Eco mode. The eco mode allows the bike to run more efficiently and limits the amount of fuel it can consume. The basic mode mostly cares about the rider’s way of riding.

Physical Attributes:
The Zontes ZT155-U is a fairly short bike, with a seat height of 790mm. The bike is mostly suited for riders more than 5’3”. The ground clearance of the bike is 185mm, which is more than suitable for the city commute among the speed bumps of Bangladesh. The bike also has a 12.5liter tank which is very much suitable for long rides out of town. Commuting in the bike will also be a breeze as the bike has a very comforting shape and comfortable ergonomics. However, the pillion may not have the most comfortable ride as the rear seat is too small.

The length, width, height, and weight of the Zontes ZT155-U are 2000mm, 845mm, 1105mm, and 126kg. The bike is terribly light for a bike of 150cc. The bike has a wheelbase of 1355mm, which is good enough to keep it stable at corners.

Engine and Transmission:
The Zontes ZT155-U comes with a 4-stroke, single-cylinder, and 155cc engine. The engine is liquid-cooled and fitted with Bosch FI. The engine pumps out 18.8BHP of power at 9250rpm and 16Nm torque at 7500rpm. The power is quite good, as well as the torque figure. The bike is expected to have a mileage of around 40kmpl on average.

The Zontes ZT155-U has a wet multi-plate slipper clutch system. The Zontes ZT155-U has a 6-speed gearbox, and the bike has an approximate top speed of about 125kmph. The slipper clutch is an awesome addition to this bike and it is one of the very few bikes in Bangladesh to have a slipper clutch.

Brakes, Suspensions, and Wheel:
The Zontes ZT155-U has a twin-disc dual-channel ABS setup. The front disc is equipped with Bosch ABS, which makes it quite a grab and very good at braking. The rear disc also comes with Bosch ABS and that just brings the bike’s performance to a whole different level.

The Zontes ZT155-U has Upside-down (USD) telescopic forks as front suspension. The rear has an Endless Adjustable gas-charged mono-shock suspension. The front suspension may be a bit stiff as it is a USD unit
