বেগম রোকেয়া বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের সাবেক উপাচার্য ড. নাজমুল আহসান কলিমউল্লার বিরুদ্ধে প্রায় একশ কোটি টাকার অনিয়মের প্রমাণ পেয়েছে ইউজিসি। তদন্তে উঠে এসেছে- নিয়ম না মেনে দ্বিতীয় পরামর্শক প্রতিষ্ঠান নিয়োগ, ভবনের প্রকৃত নকশা পরিবর্তন, কাজ না করেই বিল পরিশোধসহ নানা অনিয়ম। প্রকল্পের কাজ ২০১৮ সালে শেষ হওয়ার কথা থাকলেও সময় বাড়িয়েও তা শেষ করা সম্ভব হয়নি। এদিকে, দুর্নীতি তদন্তে মাঠে নেমেছে দুদকও।

The former vice-chancellor of Begum Rokeya University. UGC has found evidence of irregularities of about 100 crore rupees against Nazmul Ahsan Kalimulla. The investigation revealed various irregularities including appointment of a second consulting company without following the rules, changing the actual design of the building, paying bills without doing the work. The project was supposed to be completed in 2018, but it could not be completed even after extending the time. Meanwhile, the ACC has also entered the field to investigate corruption.
