Nicole Besa sings The Black Swan from The Medium by Menotti

Praised for her “metallic voice,” soprano Nicole Besa joins the Metropolitan Opera roster in John Doyle's celebrated production of Britten's Peter Grimes, and François Girard's revelatory and new realization of Wagner's Lohengrin. She is a winner of the 2021 Franc d’Ambrosio Talent Search, the 2020 Musician’s Club of Women Farwell Award, and has also won awards from the youngARTS Foundation, National Association of Teachers of Singing, and Classical Singer Competitions.

Nicole has performed internationally at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and Tiroler Opern Programm von Österreich. In the United States, Ms. Besa performs regularly with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Lyric Opera of Chicago, Victor Santiago Asuncion's FilAm Foundation, Governor’s State Center for the Performing Arts, Hearing in Color Foundation, and Gregorian Institute of America (GIA) Sacred Publications. Other company highlights include: Anchorage Opera, Cedar Rapids Opera Theatre, Kathleen Battle Chorus, Bohemian Theatre, and Idaho Falls Opera.
