Forsys is engaged in acquiring and developing mineral properties in Namibia, a politically stable, mining friendly nation which is estimated to be the 2nd largest uranium producer globally. Focused on advancing Africa’s most compelling uranium project “NORASA” – fully permitted with a current mine license and 2015 DFS proven and probable reserves of 91Mlb positioning it as potentially the 8th largest uranium producer globally. Currently on the cusp of moving from explorer to producer and re-evaluating all aspects of the 2015 DFS. Multiple workstreams have been established to re-analyze geology data and geotechnical information, conduct pit optimization and perform various process trade-off studies.

The company’s aim is to explore new methods and technologies to enhance recovery rates and optimize tailings handling and also to improve on the pit design and mine planning. On March 31 2023, the Company initiated a new drilling program to retrieve fresh geology samples from both the Valencia and Namibplaas orebodies and pit environments. The samples of ore and the ore envelope rocks are required to confirm resource size, and improve on process and pit designs.
