A pivot turn is a fairly advanced technique that requires a good understanding of clutch/throttle control. It is also hard to do if you have really short legs. It's totally doable, it's just very difficult. It will take a lot of practice but if you put in the time, you'll get it!
To be able to successfully do a pivot turn, you need to be comfortable using the clutch and you need to have a good understanding of the engagement point. Not being familiar with the use of the clutch and the engagement point will make this almost impossible. It's important to start at the bottom and learn the basics first!
