A fingerstyle blues exercice in C, composed in 2025 for advanced beginning/ intermediate level guitarists and recorded on my steel string acoustic guitar.

This exercice deals with:
Alternating bass
major blues scale
some pull off and hammer on (ligados)
triplets
a simple chromatic turnaround

Try to combine with my other Blues Exercices in C, change some notes in this one and/or come up with your own licks. You may add also some intro in order to make the exercice a real piece. Be creative! And don't forget to listen to the masters like for example Robert Johnson, Charley Patton and Bill Broonzy to find some inspiration.

The last years I wrote many little blues exercices for my pupils of all ages. They are for classical orientated guitarists, so they get some idea about blues and also for blues, rock and jazz guitarists, so they can improve reading and relate to classical guitar.
They liked them, I hope more people will have fun with them.
