A lorry draws up and out jumps radio, film and stage star George Formby. He is wearing a uniform. He walks over to a building and goes into collect scrap pots and pans for the war effort.



CU sign on van "Empty times to fill the Guns".



George comes out saying "Mr Morrison will be very pleased about this lot". As he goes to leave the householder asks him to take a ukulele with him. He proceeds to sing a song called 'If You Don't Want The Goods Don't Maul 'Em".



N.B. The Mr Morrison to whom George refers is the Minister of Supply, Herbert Morrison.
