The United Arab Emirates' city to the east, Fujairah is around 80 miles away from Dubai, but easily accessible by bus or a route that takes you through the desert and the jagged mountains.

For those that venture out here, there are some fascinating sites such as a colossal mosque directly inspired by the Blue Mosque in Istanbul, and a fort with its origins dating back to the days of Portuguese exploration in the 16th Century.

Definitely seeming to be overlooked by tourists, I'll be exploring the main attractions to see here!
