I last had one of these way back in 1992 when I was 20 on my first trip to New Zealand , it cost $650 back then and was a great car to tour the country (apart from fuel) until it blew a head gasket going up a mountain!
Ever since I’ve owned thousands of classic cars but always wanted another 6/110 more than anything but one never came up when I had enough money to buy one , today , 3 days after coming back from my 7 th trip to NZ I was offered this rather sad looking Auto mk2 1963 and spent most of days life in Jersey so not had a hard life .
She drives well and has a very solid never welded under side , new brakes and a nee oil and filter in the auto box so definitely worth putting a bit of time into to make her look a bit better inside and out .
