After I had my transmission worked on the first time, I started getting grinding in 3rd gear in the morning, especially when it was cold out. This was due to the gear oil used by the two shops that worked on it. Since the actual Toyota gear oil is impossible to find, I went with Red Line MT-LV 70W/75W GL-4 synthetic gear oil to resolve my issue.
