July 2024: This Month's Plant-Based Cookbook Is ...

Why do you pick up a new cookbook? I look for referrals. I look for new approaches to plant-based cooking. I look for authors who introduce me to know foods. You know, a twist on the old approach. Maybe a little serendipity.

Like this month, I had July's cookbook on my desk. Then I hit the farmer's market and found something I hadn't cooked with before - kohlrabi. I needed to find new recipes. And it turns out, this month's cookbook had several. Serendipity!

So here it is - July's cookbook. I’ve been having so much fun with this cookbook. It has really brought out my creativity in the foods I’ve been cooking. And to me, that’s the whole purpose.

Food isn’t just about eating. It’s about experiencing. Savoring. Living.
