ISIS Suicide Bomber Targets Talban, Afghan Refugee Minister Khalil Ur-Rahman Haqqani Killed In Blast

Afghanistan’s minister for refugees has been killed in a suicide blast in Kabul on December 11. Along with Haqqani, six others were also killed in a powerful explosion inside the ministry's premises. The Islamic State claimed responsibility for the attack. The attack marks the first assassination of a sitting minister since the Taliban's return to power in Afghanistan in August 2021.
