Using Peloton App on my Echelon Connect Sports Bike

I’ve been using the Peloton Digital App to use on my Echelon Bike and this video shows how I set it up.

I paid $499 + tax for the Echelon sports bike and $12.99/month for Peloton Digital app for the cycling classes + strength/yoga classes. (Costs as of August 2020).


I have also used YouTube for free cycling classes, though I find that the selection just can’t compete the Peloton’s variety of classes, great music and diversity of instructors.

The downside is that I don’t get to compete and see my metrics directly on the Peloton app. This is only possible if you purchase the Peloton bike for over $2,200 and $39.99/month for their membership.

I do find that I exercise/pedal more when I can compete but this set up works fine esp at a much more affordable price than an all inclusive Peloton set-up.
