Wilson Clash 98 v2.0 Racket Play Test - Court Level View Tennis Myrko & Henning

Here's my final review on the Wilson Clash 98 v2.0 (2022) after 3 days of play: Design looks great, same as with the 2021 Blade, the gradient red looks sharp. What is noticeable is the thick throat in the middle (where you hold and turn the racket). It's really thick which makes the racket a bit clumsy to swing, but not much. It's a bit stiffer than it's predecessor, still very soft and arm friendly. Control / precision is ok. I always compare rackets to my main racket, the Wilson Pro Staff RF97. So the precision is not as high as with the Pro Staff (which is one of THE most precise rackets ever). Of course the Clash 98 v2 is lighter than the RF97A. Still the power is definitely there. A full swing results in a quite powerful shot. What I also noticed is that it can go long very easily, unless you give proper top spin. Serves where quite good for me. Volleys ok. Overall it's an improvement over v1. I liked it. It's a very good racket and a 8,4 from 10 for me (My RF97A Pro Staff being the benchmark with a 9 out of 10 with the only drawback being the lower maneuverability due to the higher weight).
