Released in May of 2012, Resistance Burning Skies was the first full FPS game to grace the PS Vita. Developed by Nihilistic Software (who later developed Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified), the game received mixed reviews upon it's launch, largely due to it's poor visuals and dull story.

I was actually quite surprised by the 60% score on Metacritic! The criteria for Dumpster Diving was originally any game lower than a 60% score, which I had assumed Resistance fit right in, since I had only ever heard terrible things about the game, but didn't think to check the score myself before hitting record. Either way, I think that score was only so high as it was the full portable FPS game on the Vita, which would have given it extra points of leniency.
