اشترى أبي نظارات تشينتو الفاخرة.
اشترت لي أمي قبعة زرقاء لامعة.
وحصل الطفل على حلوى.
في طریقي إلى المنزل،
هبّت ریاح قویة.
أخذت قبعتي بعیداً.
علقت قبعتي
في غصن شجرة بیبال القدیمة.
بكیت كثیراً.
ولم أتناول العشاء.
لاحقاً في الليل،
ظهر القمر.
رأيت قبعتي
على شجرة بيبال القديمة
لقد ارتدى قبعتي.
ابتسم القمر بسعادة.
كان علي أن ابتسم أيضاً.
بعد المدرسة في اليوم التالي،
أعطتني أمي قبعة حمراء جديدة لامعة.
.قالت : أرسلها القمر.
في تلك الليلة،
ارتدينا أنا والقمر قبعاتنا وابتسمنا.
كنا سعيدين للغاية.
