एक बार फिर साइबर क्राइम के बारे में सावधान करना चाहता हूं क्योंकि एक बार फिर दिल्ली से साइबर क्राइम की एक बड़ी खबर आई है. एक NRI बुजुर्ग कपल से साइबर ठगों ने करीब पन्द्रह करोड़ रूपए ठग लिए. बुजुर्ग दंपत्ति को उनके फोन से अश्लील मैसेज भेजने और मनी लॉन्ड्रिंग की FIR होने के नाम पर डराया. अरेस्ट वारंट का डर दिखाया. फिर फर्जी पुलिस अफसरों से बात करवाई. फिर कोर्ट कचहरी का ड्रामा किया. और दो दो करोड़ करके करीब 15 करोड़ रूपए ट्रांसफर करवा लिए. हैरानी की बात ये है कि जिस कपल के साथ ये ठगी हुई. वो पैसा ट्रंसफर करने के लिए बैंक गए. बैंक के कर्मचारियों ने उनसे इतना बड़ा अमाउंट ट्रांसफर करने की बजह पूछी. अगले हफ्ते ट्रांजैक्शन करने को कहा, लेकिन ठगों ने इन बुजुर्गों को इतना ज्यादा डरा दिया था. कि उन्होंने बैंक अफसरों के सामने पैसा ट्रांसफर कराने की वही कहानी सुनाई. जो ठगों ने उन्हें सिखाई थी. 15 करोड़ रूपए ट्रांसफर करने के बाद भी इन बुजुर्गों ने पुलिस को इन्फॉर्म नहीं किया. पुलिस स्टेशन तब गए. जब ठगों ने कहा कि अब जाकर पुलिस को खबर दो. बुजुर्ग ये सोचकर पुलिस स्टेशन पहुंचे कि अब सारे केस क्लीयर हो गए.

The couple was intimidated with threats of sending obscene messages from their phones and facing an FIR for money laundering. They were shown fake arrest warrants and then made to talk to people posing as police officers. A whole drama involving courts and legal proceedings was staged, and the couple was tricked into transferring about 15 crore rupees in installments of two crore each. Surprisingly, the couple went to the bank to transfer the money. The bank employees asked them the reason for transferring such a large amount and suggested they complete the transaction the following week. However, the fraudsters had frightened the elderly couple so much that they repeated the same story to the bank officials that the fraudsters had instructed them to tell. Even after transferring 15 crore rupees, the couple did not inform the police. They only went to the police station when the fraudsters told them to do so. The elderly couple went to the police station believing that all the cases against them had been cleared.
