ABOUT THIS SERIES:

For centuries nodes of the Moon 'Rahu' and 'Ketu' have baffled Vedic astrologers in terms of the results they give in their 'mahadasha' and 'antardasha'.

In fact, when it comes to analyzing their influence in a person's life from the perspective of transits, it becomes even more tricky as there doesn't really seem to be a consensus on how to look at and understand at their impact.

I have spent a lot of years reading, writing and researching on the topic of the 'nodes' and have been lucky to have received a lot of love and recognition for the same. In this series, I seek to share this knowledge with my viewers along with a very unique perspective that will not only help you understand the energy of the nodes but also how to channel that energy to fulfill your life purpose.

With each episode, we shall be studying the impact of the North node and South node of the Moon via placements in the natal chart, 'Navamsha' (D-9), 'Dashamasha'(D-10), 'Shashtiamsha' (D-60) and transits. I will expand into the other divisional charts as well but let's hope and aim to fulfill the primary objectives first.

ABOUT KETU IN TENTH HOUSE in birth chart

Whenever you have the South node of the Moon 'Ketu' in the tenth house of the birth chart, that shows us that one of the primary objectives of your soul in this lifetime is releasing the need to become and authority. It's to release the need to identify yourself on the basis of your career, public persona or status.

Yes, your soul has immense experience in this area of life from previous lifetimes therefore you will continue to be the easy workaholic that you are and you will most likely achieve and create quite a few things of value wrt your work.

However, you need to be wary of becoming too attached to how you are seen or perceived in the public eye.

South node in 10th house people gravitate towards 'hard work' quite naturally and many of them are pushed into work hard early on in their lives as a result of having to bear the burden of the family or shouldering key responsibilities.

A great example is Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson. He has achieved so much in his career. From being a wrestler to an actor and starting his own brands and businesses..

In one of his interviews he was asked whether he had dreamt of all this early in life.

He responded by saying: "We were evicted from our house when I was 12. I tried to get into the NFL but couldn't. All I wanted to do was NOT be broke. That's it!"

So you can see people will often oscillate between the energy of 'wanting to make it big' and 'doing whatever they need to do to pay their bills'.

Another thing quite often that these individuals grapple with is their relationship with authority. South node in tenth house people are often perceived as individuals who are a bit too 'risky' to be given positions of power owing to their honest and (quite often) blunt nature.
