Bakewell a market town situated 15 miles from Sheffield in the Derbyshire dales on the picturesque River Wye. Bakewell is famous for it Bakewell pudding, a jam pastry with ground Almond. It was discovered by error from a cook not following recipe instructions. Visitors flock here in the summer months because of the lovely tea rooms, courtyards, and of course the River. It also has a traditional market.
