I have been searching for a method to install a trolling motor on my QUINTREX 520 OCEAN SPIRIT/510 Sea Spirit. I searched on Google for installation methods and found no better way than welding. However, welding poses the risk of damaging the boat's paint, and the installation process is complex.
Consequently, I devised a trolling motor bracket crafted from aluminum alloy 6061 material and CNC machined. This bracket simplifies the installation process, requiring only the drilling of four holes on the hull, making it very easy for DIY installation.
Today, we successfully installed this bracket, and the process was straightforward, resulting in a sturdy bracket. Moving forward, we plan to install the trolling motor and conduct thorough tests. I anticipate that this bracket will assist numerous owners of the 520 Ocean Spirit in seamlessly installing their own trolling motors.
