Originally released as a series of Shorts, these comic lettering tutorials are inspired by real comments on our channel. For many of our viewers, comic lettering is deceptively difficult to learn, so hopefully this is compilation can help jumpstart your brain. Yes, each tutorial is oddly-specific, but if you pay attention, they have a lot more to teach you than simply “how to letter a demon” or “how to letter a telepath.” Lettering is all about creative problem-solving and assembling building blocks with your own flair and style. Remember: the goal is to create your own solutions to new problems you might encounter as you craft your stories.

All lettering created in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. (But you don't need to know those specific programs or even use digital graphic design programs at all. You can do all of this by hand if you wanted.)
