Casio A700WE (3472) Water test.

Описание к видео Casio A700WE (3472) Water test.

Submerging the watch under water for one hour. Test passed!
No sign of leakage or damage. I didn't even bother opening the back to check if there is water, I decided to just continue using the watch normally, and after using the watch now for a few weeks, it still works perfectly, and there's no fog or water condensation visible anywhere, so it must be dry inside, works perfectly. I just have to remind all of you that these kind of tests are always risky, and you should never push a button while the watch is submerged in water...
The wrist strap;
If somebody got curious about my wrist-strap; I made it my self, like all of my wrist straps, they are all similar, lightweight elastic fabric, black. They are attached a bit differently, depending on the model. The Skagen (SKW6078) was very challenging to build, because of the custom made wrist-strap connector, but the Casio watches are pretty easy, and so was the Fossil. I make the seams with epoxy-glue, carefully, so that the glue doesn't really show, or seep through the fabric, I wait a moment for the glue to solidify enough so that it is attaching well to the fabric, but doesn't seep trough, and then I press the ends together very gently, not too hard, because the glue would spread too much and be visible from the sides of the seam. It's important for me that the strap is tight enough so that it doesn't roll or move too much, but still feels extremely comfortable, that's the point. So measuring and precision is very important. I have also attached a thin paper/cardboard layer on the metal part of the other watches, to avoid moisture buildup in between the watch and the skin, and it makes wearing a watch super comfortable, and I can barely feel that I'm wearing a watch. Yeah, I'm ultra-sensitive, that's why I have done these things. Another reason is for weight and practicality. These kind of wrist-straps are extremely light-weight and easy to use.

Thanks for watching ;)
Much Love to all...
