The title of this piece translates to “Remember To Live”. This phrase has really stuck in my mind lately for a few reasons. Most of which have been the subject of other pieces I have written over the last few years. In the notes of those solos, I have shared plenty of my own personal losses and hurdles. Writing them out again would be overkill I think. So, instead of being about any one specific trigger event, Memento Vivere is more about the difficulty in remembering that life always moves on. Even if the entire direction of our world changes against our will, there is still so much around us.
