Air cooled engine crank up

Air cooled engines are not allways well liked amongst engine enthusiasts....so here is my collection of "entry ticket" engines being given a good thrashing.... I'm not a great fan of small air cooled petrol engines, but all of these have a place in my collection and a place in preservation.

From left to right, my recently restored late 1960's Suffolk Iron Foundry 98G14. Next is a mid 1950's Suffolk Iron Foundry 75G14 1B which is a very early engine, driving a Broom and Wade compressor. Then we have an early 60's Suffolk Colt lawn mower, powered by a 75G14. Last, is my 1957 JAP 2S water pumping set which was rebuilt and often provides useful service.
