Key Insights:
Selflessness in Service: Swami Chinmayananda emphasizes the importance of performing all activities in the spirit of selflessness. When one teaches or serves without ego or expectation of reward, it becomes a pure act of devotion to the divine presence within all beings.

Ego and Disappointment: He warns that when the ego enters, expecting gratitude or appreciation from others, disappointment is inevitable. The ego makes one vulnerable to feeling wounded by others' lack of acknowledgment.

Unity with the Divine: Swamiji conveys that when one sees the divine in every individual, all actions, including teaching, become offerings to the Lord. This perspective eliminates selfish desires and fosters gratitude for the opportunity to serve.

Gratitude for Service: Instead of expecting praise, Swamiji feels grateful to those who give him the opportunity to speak about the glories of the Lord. This gratitude deepens his sense of devotion and removes any attachment to the outcomes of his actions.

Freedom through Non-Attachment: He highlights that acting without attachment frees the personality from limitations and inhibitions, allowing one to perform better and improve continuously without being bound by past performances or future expectations.

Moral:
When actions are performed without ego or attachment, seeing the divine in all, they become pure offerings. This selfless attitude leads to freedom from disappointment and a deeper connection with the divine, fostering continuous growth and inner peace.
