FFXI Ambuscade - Mage Mamools (December 2024)

There is a lot to say about the mechanics and last time I did them but this time its not worth it due to gear creep.

Basically the more Mamools you kill without having them throw their staff the stronger their magic attacks are. If you do have them throw the staffs it buffs there melee damage (TP moves can 1 shot you).

You can safely silence during Manafont or after with out the fear of Mijin Gakure going off.

They choose one of the two 1hrs to use based off the silence status.

Honestly its easier to just buff yourself and zerg it like I did.

The most important thing is to tag your Addle II and if time Slow/Paralyze.

Non-standard buffs are Indi-Fend and Sentinel's Scherzo.

I did not do it but the WHM can use Sacrosanctity when there are about two Mamools left.
