Deloitte’s "2023 Global automotive consumer study" has shown that around 48 percent of consumers would like to invest in a used #car, indicating that customers tend to buy a used car instead of a new one as their second car.

While reflecting on these trends in customer preference, Rajat Mahajan, Partner, Consulting, Deloitte India, while speaking with Atul Jairaj, Partner, Consulting, Deloitte India, highlighted that about 52 percent of the surveyed customers are willing to buy a used car as their second car. He said, "With the experience, including TCO, warranties, rates, etc., and the total cost of #ownership, the used car is becoming a very important and interesting proposition for the Indian customer."
