Alfie Boe appeared at The Royal Variety Performance on November 13, 2014 - first broadcast on ITV1 on December 8, 2014 - and held in the presence of Prince William, Duke of Cambridge and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge.

He opened the programme by singing the National Anthem of Great Britain 'God Save the Queen'; sang 'Blue Moon' in his own regard and participated in the finale - a tribute to Frank Sinatra 'Fly Me to the Moon'.

Alfie Boe's Bio: As the UK’s favourite tenor, he dreamed of a career as a singer as a young boy. Alfie has conquered the worlds most prestigious opera stages, led the cast of Les Misérables for nearly a year and performed at the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee concert at Buckingham Palace. Alfie has had four top ten albums, and his new studio album, ‘Serenata’ was released in November, sold out three UK tours and is currently on his fourth tour – returning to The O2 Arena in London where the 25th Anniversary Concert of Les Mis launched his career. In addition to his wonderful musical credentials, Alfie released a best-selling autobiography in 2012, ‘My Story’, and was lucky enough to have been offered the role of music hall singer Richard Chapman in ‘Mr Selfridge’.
