Essential Women of Liberty: Rose Wilder Lane

Throughout history, some of the most ardent supporters of freedom and individual rights have been women, including Rose Wilder Lane, one of the founders of the American libertarian movement.
Born on the American frontier, Wilder Lane would go on to become a prominent writer and journalist who in her writings promoted individualism and capitalism at a time when fascism, communism and central economic planning were growing in popularity. And she was also a vocal critic of racism when discrimination in the United States was rampant and overt.
