My flight got upgraded to first class for free! 🥳

I always remind my community that if you are loyal to the airline then the airline will be loyal to you! Back in 2020 I had been loyal to Delta for almost 10 years and it definitely paid off because on my way to the airport I received an email from delta letting me know that I had been selected for a complimentary upgrade to first class.

If you join the loyalty program with an airline you typically will be added a upgrade list for free upgrades to better seats on the plane including first class seats if there are any extra seats that are empty. The terms and conditions vary by airline but joining an airlines loyalty program is free and a must when you travel. Typically only those with top tier status get the free upgrades but if you happen to be on an empty plane you could get lucky too!
