The Specialty Amish Quilt cutting of pattern and fabric begins! (sooner than expected)

After discovering and seeing the Alaska patterned quilt for the first time at an English quilt event held in a nearby vineyard, Ld and I drove over to tell Anna and the girls all about it! We may have gone a "bit" out of our way to get there since some of the drive was unfamiliar territory to us. I found Katie out back of the house cleaning her freshly harvested garlic bulbs and getting them ready for sale at the Farmers Market on Tuesday. I also heard that Anna had started the Alaska quilt for our guest from Virginia! The pattern cutting has begun!!!!! So, after a short "tutorial" of their progress and plans for finishing the cutting, (don't worry, I'm not really going to sew and sew and sew, lol) Ld and I headed home quite pleased with the day behind us.
