A watershed is an area of land that separates the water flowing to different rivers, or basins. it is a turning point. In other words, a watershed comprises of many streams or rivers and drains into a large water body.

steps1: Go on Arc toolbox in ArcGIS software
step 2: Go spatial analyst too__Hydrology tool
step 3: click on the fill tool
step 4: click on flow direction
step 5: click on flow accumulation
step 6: create a point shapefile in the catalog tool
step 7: again go on the hydrology tool and click on a watershed
step 8: after watershed generated then go on conversion tool
step 9: click raster to polygon.
