Today I am unboxing and flipping through the Next World Tarot deck, created by Cristy C. Road. Her art focuses on social justice, queer culture, body positivity, environmental issues, and inclusion of all humans despite the labels society creates with gender, social status, or race. At the time of this upload, it is my first unboxing video for the month of February and Black History Month, when we honor and celebrate black lives, black activists, black leaders, and all they have accomplished ! Cristy C. Road's art and heroes in Next World Tarot share a common bond to rise above the system that has suppressed black people, LBGTQ people, and anyone that has had to fight for equality, especially here in the United States. Therefore, I thought this would be the perfect deck to share in honor of everyone that has, or still is fighting for justice. The video is so long because I truly wanted to honor this artwork, deck and the issues it discusses. Time stamps are below!
