पितृपक्ष श्राद्ध 2025 - 7 सितंबर 2025, रविवार, तिथि भाद्रपद, शुक्ल पूर्णिमा से शुरू होकर 21 सितंबर 2025, रविवार, सर्व पितृ अमावस्या, तिथि अश्विना, कृष्ण अमावस्या को समाप्त होगा। पितरों को पानी देने के लिए, एक लोटे में जल, काले तिल, कुश और फूल लें और दक्षिण दिशा की ओर मुख करके बैठें. हाथों में जल लेकर, अंगूठे के पास बने 'पितृ तीर्थ' से तीन बार अंजली में जल भरें और पितरों का नाम लेते हुए धरती पर अर्पित करें. जल अर्पित करते समय "ॐ पितृभ्यो नमः" मंत्र का जाप करें और पितरों का ध्यान कर उन्हें तृप्त होने के लिए प्रार्थना करें.
