This elderly lady came to Richardson Dental and Craniofacial Hospital with a complaint of torn ear lobe. She used to wear heavy ear rings and was one of the reason. This is also a redo surgery as it was done a few months ago elsewhere and it gave up. The scar from the previous operation can be seen.
Dr Sunil Richardson and his team did the surgery under local anesthesia as a daycare procedure. Vicryl rapide sutures were used allowing the patient to have bath the next day itself.
The results are permanent and she could have her ears pierced again after couple of weeks.
