Steps:

Go on to facebook, tap the menu button at the top right and scroll down to settings and privacy, expand that category and then tap on settings.

Scroll down to the notifications category and then tap on ‘notifications settings’.

In the notifications settings tap on the setting for ‘birthdays’.

From here, disable the toggle titled ‘allow notifications from Facebook.

Now you have turned that off you will no longer get any notifications at all related to birthdays, upcoming birthdays and belated birthdays!
