Vibration is the origin of life.
Percussion is the origin of the musical and cultural art created by man, it can be said to be the basis of musical history and culture, just as it is in the composition of a song. If we listen carefully, our own hearts beat rhythmically.

Munedaiko is a study group dedicated to the practice and appreciation of the traditional Japanese drum to discover, develop and evolve oneself.
The group's goal is, through arduous training of the body, art and culture, to find stability of mind and state of mind, to deepen the spirit in harmony and resonance with the other.
Through the vibration of the drum, it is possible to awaken and manifest the strength of the life energy within each of us.
Its sound is as perfect as the beating of the heart, with its accelerations, shudders and decelerations.

Recognised as cultural collaborators by the Japanese Embassy in Italy, The Munedaiko perform concerts throughout Italy and Europe to make the expressive power of their drums known. By bringing the music, theatre and dance of this centuries-old tradition back to life in their incredible performances, they revive fragments of antique Japan for their listeners.

Mugen, Naomitsu and Tokinari Yahiro are Japanese born in Italy, united by a passion for taiko and a scrupulous search for sonorities that, if on the one hand takes them back to their origins, on the other allows them to speak a universal, atavistic musical language of great emotional impact.
