Stagg 23C is a 125.9 proof bourbon whiskey that was released in Fall 2023. It has a sweet but heavy nose with notes of caramel and raspberry. The mouthfeel is thin with sugary bits lingering on the tongue's edges. It has wild berry aromas, including grape, blackberry, and darker florals. On the palate, it has initial oak explosions that explode into fruit and spice, with notes of honey, caramel, nougat, and dark fruit. It also has a gentle strawberry and ladyfinger flavor profile.
Stagg 23C is made by Buffalo Trace Distillery and is a member of their Antique Collection.
