The wheels on your mountain bike are very important when it comes to either a custom build or simply replacing an old faithful wheelset you’ve had for years. Just like anything else, to a certain degree wheels are a subjective topic. Although there are many MTB wheel choices these days, there aren’t many brands doing something to separate themselves by thinking outside the box. One brand that is doing something very unique is Industry Nine (Or as most call it, "I9"). With their “System Wheels” not only do you have the performance benefit of the 120 points of engagement in their hubs but also the lightweight but rigid aluminum spokes. If that wasn’t enough you can also customize the anodized spokes and hubs to any color combo you desire.
