Batshit-insane scifi/fantasy movie from bizarro king John Boorman.

A film that almost defies description, Zardoz has Sean Connery in a proto-mankini, hunting down 'Brutals' in a post-apocalyptic society at the behest of a giant stone head.

Everything else involving the film's plot, characters and narrative basically has to be experienced, rather than explained. A very polarising movie, Zardoz is either total dross or one of your favourite films.
