8.5 ounce (240g) box Jiffy CORN MUFFIN MIX
1/2 - 1 teaspoon ONION POWDER
About 1/2 to 3/4 of a 8.25 ounce CAN CREAMED CORN
1 small EGG
Mix the onion powder with the cornbread mix. Add Egg and 1/2 to maybe 3/4 of the creamed corn to be the right consistency for hush puppy batter. Stir to combine and let the mixture rest 3 mintues. Drop with a 2 teaspoon scoop into hot oil about 350 F. They should drop to the bottom and then come to the top and will flip themselves when one side is done. After a few minutes flip them if they haven't already and fry a few more minutes. Let drain on papertowels and enjoy.
