For the last video in this year's Solved September series we cover the case of 24 year old Rita Curran, a grad student who was brutally murdered in Burlington, Vermont in July of 1971. Her case went unsolved until genetic genealogy was finally used on the DNA from a Lark brand cigarette butt left at the crime scene.
