(1988) A flamboyant man, Curtis Rousseau, who, with his partner, cautious Richard Bradley, tries to sign a prospective young singer to a contract with their fledging recording company. The singer, Jamie Sinclair, wants to sing, but her strict father, Harlan, prefers that she go to medical school. Curtis, realizing his outrageous personality will not impress the father, urges Richard to use his brand of persuasion. Starring Morris Day, James Avery & Tisha Campbell.
