local oscillator with FET (J310) 3,2 MHz - 13 MHz

Описание к видео local oscillator with FET (J310) 3,2 MHz - 13 MHz

1 transistor (FET) oscillator usable for a broad frequency band. This oscillator can e.g. be used in a superheterodyne radio or whatever radio or transmitter. The buffer stage is necessary to decouple the oscillator from the load. If not decoupled, the oscillation can stop and/or is damped and the ouput volume (amplitude) goes down substantially, this can give not proper mixer results. When you want to make this circuit in real avoid stray capacitance, though the circuit is not critical and will always work. You can (of course) use other coils, I don't expect problems with other coils due to the good properties from the J310 FET in an oscillator and HF amplifier circuit.
More circuits (radio, audio, generator, etc) in my books, available on the Lulu website, author Ko Tilman. In my book "Retro Radio" (only with Dutch text) you will find more radio schematics.

All the videos hat I have published on You Tube can be found via my Channel Trailer: Link is

In thematic order you can find these video’s under the “comments” section. My books about electronics are available via the website from “Lulu”, search for author “Ko Tilman” there. My books are also available via Barnes and Noble and via Amazon. Regarding all my video’s: I constantly keep them actual, so the original video’s with the most recent information are always on YouTube. That is the source, and search there. When my video’s are reproduced or re-edited on other websites/channels you cannot be sure about the original content (=really working electronics) and important adaptations to the circuits.
