Aerial Massacre: Algerian Army Bombs Sahrawis with Drones in Tindouf

In a dangerous escalation, the Algerian army has carried out an air strike for the first time against Sahrawis using drones in the Tindouf region, killing a number of civilians. According to the Sahrawis for Peace movement, the strike targeted a group of Sahrawis who were going to prospect for gold, killing up to 14 people between dead and wounded.

This air strike, which the movement described as a massacre, comes at a time when pressure is mounting on Algeria, which is accused of ignoring human rights violations in the region. The region has witnessed increasing tensions, with Algeria resorting to silence regarding these incidents, while the Polisario Front accuses Morocco of committing similar violations.
