"Skookum" is yet another mysterious project which focuses on the legends of wild men. For hundreds of years, and all over the world, people have reported strange encounters in remote forests, with tall hairy beasts walking on two legs. Wether they are called Sasquatch, Skunk Ape, Bigfoot, Yowie, Yeti, Almasty or Almas, Yeren or Troll, sightings continue to this day...

Skookum depicts a feeling: being lost in rugged terrain and deep forests, and witnessing something unkown in the distance. The feeling of being watched and overwhelmed by fear. Thus it takes the shape of very primitive and raw black metal as it is the most suitable form of expression for these emotions.
