Starting Pine Bonsai from nursery stock

I had bought two young Pine trees from the nursery last week. I decided to shape and pot them today. I used anodized aluminium wire to shape and bend the trunks into the classic "S" shape. I was careful not to disturb the root ball of the trees since this is not the best time for repotting. I also did not prune the branches or needles ( except for the ends of two long branches) since these trees depend highly on their leaves/needles to produce food and grow strong. I potted the trees in a terracotta and a ceramic pot respectively using my bonsai soil mix and dressed with some stones and moss for a aesthetic look. Quite happy with the outcome and look forward to growing these trees as part of my bonsai collection
