The Descent || A Holly Lawrenson Evans Film || 2024

A short experimental eco-horror film exploring the idea of 'The Monstrous Feminine' (Barbara Creed), and that challenges and reframes the misogynistic tropes in how the MF is presented in the horror genre. My aim has been to make a film that is open to interpretation, and that encourages viewers to form their own thoughts informed by symbolism, sound and choreography.
