Ouachita Trail: Section 1 - Oklahoma Mountain Adventuring at its Finest!

Come along for the start of my section hike of the beautiful and challenging Ouachita Trail. In this first installment of my planned 2022 hike of the entire 223-mile route it take you from mile zero through mile 23.9.

This section, the hardest of them all, begins at Talimena State Park and ends at the Winding Stair Trailhead. Along the way we'll see all the sights; from the shelters along the way to the numerous vistas and relentless boulder fields that help make this one heck of an adventure.
